Chettiar Heritage Museum was created to preserve and display the traditional objects, household items, and cultural belongings used by Chettinad and Nagarathar families over generations.The museum reflects the heritage of Chettinad through its traditional artefacts, old-style collections, and cultural presentation. It was established by S.L.S. Palaniappan of the Nagarathar community and opened in 2022. This museum is a meaningful place for visitors who want to understand the history, customs, and lifestyle of the Chettiar community in South Tamil Nadu.
