Thirumayam Fort

Thirumayam Fort is a historic hill fort in Pudukkottai district, located on the PudukkottaiβKaraikudi highway, and is one of the important heritage attractions of the region. Spread across about 40 acres, the fort was built in 1687 by Vijaya Raghunatha Sethupathi, the Raja of Ramnad, and is now a protected ticketed monument maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India.
